International English Language Testing System (IELTS) evaluates the potential success of an individual to use and understand English at such a level so that they can participate in a university program tough in English or can work in a English speaking   environment. It is required for non-native English speakers’ citizens around the world. Additionally, institutions such as government agencies, businesses, or scholarship programs may require this test. The official IELTS score is valid for two years and after that candidates need to take a new test in order to make it usable. Most of the Colleges and universities usually consider Band score 6.5 or over.

The IELTS test is administered worldwide by the University of Cambridge ESOL examination syndicate. There are over 160 test centers around the world with more than 1.5 million candidates taking this test each year.
